Britain’s Queen due in Oman 

MUSCAT - Britain’s Queen Elizabeth will arrive here on Thursday on a four-day visit that will give a new impetus to ties between the two countries, the Diwan of Royal Court said in a statement here.

“The visit will accelerate the cooperation march between the sultanate and the United Kingdom,” it added, underlining the keenness of the two sides to further expand bilateral relations.

The Queen will be accompanied by Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, William Hague, Foreign Secretary, and other key British officials.
