The Arab League Information ministers, who met recently in Cairo, approved a recommendation submitted by Bahrain. Minister of State for Information Affairs and government’s spokesperson Sameera Ebrahim bin Rajab said that Al Alam and Al Manar channels and Al Nour radio station were still continuing their defamatory campaign against Bahrain.
In a Press briefing, she said: “Bahrain demanded the ASBU reassignment to monitor Al Manar channel as no detailed report was submitted to the recent meeting.”
