The ministry advised in a statement issued on Saturday that all citizens should avoid travelling to Syria for their own safety. Moreover, in case of any emergency the ministry also urged the citizens to call Bahrain’s embassy in Syria on: 00963116132314.
Qatar on Sunday also called its citizens to leave Syria. In Doha, the foreign ministry urged Qataris to leave Syria “as soon as possible.” The Qatari and Saudi embassies in Damascus have been attacked during pro-regime demonstrations.
Saudi Arabia said one of its citizens was killed last Monday while visiting family in the restive city of Homs, in central Syria.
