Art attack
It's the last day of Dubai's first street art festival. Starting today from 2pm onwards, this pop-up exhibition will be held at the Rove Dubai Marina and feature the likes of famous street artists, such as Pure Evil, Stainz and Cholo Juan. This 48th National Day weekend, it does not matter where you are in the city, you will be able to see fireworks from half a dozen places. You can get closer to the action and watch colourful fireworks light up the night sky at Al Seef (8pm), La Mer (8.30pm) and The Beach at JBR (9pm) on December 1 and 2, with the special addition of two more venues: The Pointe (8pm) and Global Village (9pm).
Walk for the determined
Spend your Friday walking for charity at Dubai Autodrome on November 29. Tickets cost Dh50 (free for those under 11) and all proceeds will be given to Al Jalila Foundation for medical research, education and treatment for people of determination.
