The rainy weather experienced across parts of the UAE on Sunday will subside by early afternoon today (Monday), according to a spokesperson from the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
pic.twitter.com/E1LDkLxfAPResidents got a taste of some rare wintry conditions on Sunday, as light to moderate rain coupled with sandstorms hit parts of the country. Dubai's popular family attraction, Global Village, announced it would be closed to the public due to the bad weather.

Rainfall will subside by Monday afternoon, however, the cloud formation will persist until Tuesday late afternoon," the spokesperson said.
