Saturday's storm flooded valleys and roads, resulting in some UAE schools shutting down for the day. Around 570 residents also got stranded at Jebel Jais, a popular hotspot during this weather. Police from Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah sprung into action to rescue the stranded visitors.
