Some schools in Dubai are dispersing early after heavy rain resulted in water logging on few roads, and caused heavy traffic for rush-hour commuters.
Schools have communicated to parents that children will be sent home early.
Khaleej Times has seen messages from Gems Winchester School - Dubai, Gems Our Own Indian School, and Dubai Scholars school.
"Dear Parent, Please be informed that WIN Bus will depart early from school at 12.10pm due to Rain. Please make arrangements for your child to be picked up at the drop off point-STS," a message from Gems Winchester said.
"Early dispersal today - FS1 and FS2 buses will leave at 9.30am and Year 1 to 11 will leave at 11am," Dubai Scholars said.
