NCMS warns mariners of rough seas

The National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) has reiterated its previous cautions and warnings to mariners in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, of rough seas.

In a statement on Wednesday, the centre added that the wave height is reaching nine feet in the Arabian Gulf.

The weather on Thursday will be partly cloudy to fair in general with moderate to fresh winds which will cause blowing of dust/sand over the internal areas at times. Relative humidity will increase during night and early morning times over some internal areas, with a chance of fog formation.
