The onset of winter is on the way as the mercury plummeted to 17.5°C in the Damtha region of the UAE, the lowest so far on Monday.
According to a tweet by the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS), Damtha, near Al Ain, recorded the lowest temperature at 5:45 am Monday, September 21, which will officially be the last day of summer.
#The_lowest_temperature recorded over the country today morning was 17.5 °C in Damtha at 05:45 AM.According to Sharjah News official Twitter account, Ibrahim Al Jarwan, a member of the Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences, said on Sunday that autumn will begin on September 22, 2020, at 5:31 pm in the UAE.
