Residents of Ajman can now enjoy WiFi services in all parks in the emirate. The parks will provide access to the service in phases under the instructions of Shaikh Rashid Humid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, chairman of Ajman Municipality and planning department. The services will be implemented by the Ajman Municipality in coordination with Etisalat.
Speaking to Khaleej Times, Yahya Al Reyaysa, director-general of Ajman Municipality said the service is part of the municipality's effort to transform Ajman to a smart city and also provide best services to residents and ensure their happiness.
He added the service will be installed in phases. The first parks to go WiFi will be the Flag and Al Jarf parks to be followed by Al Safia and Mushairif parks. Al Rashidiya and Masfout parks will get the service by the end of the year,
Al Reyaysa added that the second phase will start in the first half of this year and, in the fourth quarter the service will cover all parks in Ajman, Masfout and Manama areas.
