The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) issued an advisory for residents on Saturday after thunderstorms lashed parts of the country. Authorities have also issued a weather alert for Sunday.
In a series of tweets, the NCEMA urged residents to observe weather changes and follow weather forecasts on media.

The authority also advised motorists to take caution during sudden weather changes on the road, reduce speed, do not try to overtake other vehicles and turn on the lights.
'Avoid flooded areas as flowing water could make you lose control over the car,' the advisory added.
The NCEMA also warned against using mobile phones except in utmost urgent cases - especially during thunderstorms.
Police and civil defence across the country have advised residents to avoid unnecessary trips outside during inclement weather.
