UAE and the Eastern Uruguayan Republic signed a visa exemptions Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Wednesday whereby holders of diplomatic, special, official, mission and ordinary passports can travel without entry visa.
This memorandum will facilitate the entry, exit and transit of citizens of the two countries through their territories without obtaining a visa for a period of up to 90 days.
The memorandum was signed by Assistant Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Human Rights and International Law and HE Mr. Ariel Arutoro Bergamino Sosa, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uruguay, at the Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Abu Dhabi.
Ahmed AbduRahman Al-Jarman affirmed that the signing of this MoU will enhance bilateral relations between the UAE and the Republic of Uruguay.
During the meeting, they discussed mutual cooperation and friendship between the two countries, as well as exchanging views on a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern.
