A heavy truck was gutted in a fire on the Emirates Road in Umm Al Quwain on Saturday afternoon.
After being alerted about the accident, the central operations room of the UAQ Police dispatched traffic police, ambulances, paramedics and rescue teams to the site in record time.
Official sources with the UAQ civil defence department told Khaleej Times that a heavy truck caught fire around 1:00pm.
