The UAE is ready to send troops to Iraq and Syria to fight Daesh. UAE officers will train the Iraqi army and provide logistical support in the fight against Daesh.
"We believe that we cannot defeat Daesh without putting troops on the ground," said Dr Anwar Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and FNC Minister during a press conference in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.
Gargash called for a more inclusive government in Iraq, which would take all communities along. Saudi Arabia had committed troops two days ago to fight the terror group in Syria and Iraq as part of the US-led coalition.
