sharjah - It came out as a perfect sister act for multitalented Vadali Venkata Sai Sreedivya, a Grade 12 student and her sibling Vadali Venkata Sai Krisha, a Grade 4 student of Gems Our Own Indian School, Dubai.
The brilliant duo were awarded with two international records recently for their outstanding achievements in academics, extra-curricular activities, environmental and community services. The Wonder Book of Records International and Genius Book of Records awarded Sai Sreedivya the 'Gifted Multitalented Girl Appreciation Award', and the 'More Performances in Small Age Appreciation Award' to Sai Krisha.
Sai Sreedivya's certifications, in particular, stated that the girl is a "gifted, multitalented girl for her outstanding Academic achievements and is exhibiting her versatility in dance, singing, public speaking, creative writing, creative art, and is a budding scientists with leadership qualities. Her environmental work and social awareness activities are commendable."
The awards came as a surprise for the family as they were out of country on the vacation. It was announced and awarded on September 10.
Passionate dancers, excellent public speakers and creative writers are an true inspiration for many people. But for the girls, the motivation and all the learning is inspired by their mother. "Without my mom's encouragement, it would not have been possible for me to come this far. She is the one who recognised my talent when I was 5 years old, and has trained me from then on. We are originally from Hyderabad, India, and I have learned different forms of traditional dances from various institutes. I feel blessed to be good at different things, but I want to make my career in engineering," said Sreedivya.
As an aside, she adds that she created a robotic car as a part of her school project recently.
Overjoyed at her daughters' success and accomplishments, JV Padmaja says the UAE has given them lot of opportunities and space to grow and develop. She said, "I am a proud mother and I believe this is only the beginning: there is lot more to achieve. The UAE has supported and given a platform to my kids".
