A website (registration.sibf.com) to book your time slot to visit the Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) is now live. Visitors can get four time slots that last three hours: Morning (10am to 1pm); afternoon (1pm to 4pm); evening (4pm to 7pm); and night (7pm to 10pm).
Book lovers will be able to browse through more than 80,000 titles in English, Arabic, and other languages, brought to the Expo Centre Sharjah by 1,024 publishers from 73 countries. The socially distanced version of the fair will be held on November 4-14.
Those wishing to attend the 64 virtual events and discussions as part of the SIBF’s cultural programme can register via sharjahreads.com.
Being held under the theme ‘The world reads from Sharjah’, the SIBF has adopted a hybrid online – offline model to ensure public health and safety amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
