Recreational facilities, leisure hubs and fitness centres are now open in Ajman, authorities announced on Monday.
Among those that have been allowed to welcome customers and visitors from Monday are sports centres, gyms, kids' play areas, and beauty centres, according to the announcement of the Ajman Crises Management team.
Museums, cultural sites, art galleries and public libraries have also resumed operations.
Circulars detailing safety policies were issued to these facilities, an official said. Strict measures were put in place to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Like in other public spaces across the country, wearing face masks is mandatory and the two-metre social distance must be maintained.
"Visitors and customers will also have their temperature checked, while those over the age of 60 or under the age of 12 will not be allowed to enter the facilities," the official added.
With movement restrictions eased, several recreational spaces across the country have already started welcoming back visitors.

Last week, Sharjah reopened some of its leisure facilities, like parks, some beaches, pools and cinemas, while Abu Dhabi has restarted the operations of its cultural sites, including popular museums like the Louvre Abu Dhabi and Qasr Al Hosn. Fujairah beaches and parks also opened on Monday.

In Dubai, all major landmarks and attractions, beaches and parks sprung back to life and reopened for visitors in late May.
The UAE recently announced the completion of its National Sterilisation Programme, lifting all movement restrictions across the country. Earlier, all residents were required to stay home during the disinfection drive and step out only for emergencies while night-time movement restrictions were in force. Authorities have now mandated that individuals and communities need to continue to adhere to strict safety measures, with violators facing hefty fines and even jail terms for repeat non-compliance.
