An aircraft belonging to Skydive Dubai ran off a runway while attempting to land in Dubai Marina on Friday, according to a tweet from the Dubai Media Office.
"Skydive plane deviates off course while landing, resulting in minor accident. No passengers on board and pilot uninjured," the tweet read.
An Associated Press reporter saw the Skydive Dubai propeller aircraft at the end of its runway in the Dubai Marina where it crashed on Friday, its nose tipping down over the breakers running along the water.
On its Facebook page, Skydive Dubai noted that the incident occurred "due to yet as unknown circumstances" and that local authorities are already investigating.

In a tweet, Skydive Dubai also said that regular operations will resume on Saturday.

In July, a Skydive Dubai Cessna Caravan was force to make an emergency landing in the sands near Skydive Dubai's Desert Campus after experiencing a technical problem. The pilot and 15 passengers were uninjured.
