A housemaid was sentenced to three months in jail to be followed by deportation, after allowing her lover to trespass into her sponsor's villa.
The 32-year-old Filipina is accused of allowing her 30-year-old Indian lover - the sponsor's driver - access into her sponsor's property so that they could have sex. Both have been charged with having illicit sex.
The man faced a trespass charge, while the maid was accused with helping him do that.
The case dates back to June 29.
The sponsor, a 74-year-old retired armed forces officer, said the maid had been working for him for six years. "I heard from a relative she had pictures of herself with a Filipino man in my villa posted on social media. I checked her Facebook account and was surprised to see the pictures she had taken with a stranger in the living room and the main hall."
The complainant told the prosecutor that the maid took advantage that he is a Ras Al Khaimah resident and went every Friday with his family leaving his house in her trust and care.  "She abused my trust to get a Filipino man and my Indian driver into my property. On June 29, I installed surveillance cameras at the entrance and inside the hall. They showed the driver entering my house. A loud music could be heard while both were walking around the villa and they were apparently intimate with each other. The driver's room is located outside the villa and he is not allowed inside."
The sponsor recounted to the investigator that after those recordings, he called after his maid and asked her about her pictures on her Facebook account and in her mobile phone. "She confessed to me and my wife that she used to get a Filipino man inside our house and she used to have sex there. She also told us that she would go on trips with another compatriot maid with the two men to Al Fujairah and for shopping at malls in Dubai."
"The maid confessed that she had stolen a ring which she wore in one of those pictures. We had lost that ring for quite some time. I filed a complaint against her at Al Qusais police station on July 2," the employer said.
Both defendants admitted to the charges during investigation.
The trial has been adjourned to September 19.
