Dubai Police has called upon the public to avail the 50 per cent discount on traffic fines offer and settle their fine before the deadline date.
Dubai Brigadier Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, Director General of Traffic Department at Dubai Police, called on all members of the public to benefit from the decision to reduce the value of violations before March 1, 2018.

He added that those who miss the opportunity to pay their accumulated fines during this period will not benefit from the discount, adding that the reduction of fines will significantly facilitate violators, who have accumulated large amounts of fines.
Commenting on the payment process, Al Mazrouei added that the beneficiaries can pay the value of violations through smart services - Dubai Police website or smart apps - or through traditional means of payment, such as via payments kiosk at the Dubai traffic department, police stations, RTA offices, and even exchange shops.
The Brigadier General confirmed that the reduction in the value of the violations includes both private and commercial cars.
The owners of confiscated vehicles can benefit from the offer, by paying off the fine and receive their vehicles.
It is noteworthy that a majority of people have availed the discount offer by paying off their fines online or via smartphones, eliminating crowds at the traffic department, with just those motorists appearing in person whose cars have been being confiscated or are facing other traffic violations.
