One doctor for 1,145 students

DUBAI — Public schools in Dubai and the Northern Emirates have only 11 doctors for every 12,592 students, according to a school health report. The report also calls for deployment of full time health employees to ensure better care and support to students.

DUBAI - After having opted for vasectomy earlier on, 48-year-old German, Peter Raederscheidt, decided he wanted another baby with his life partner of three years. Since this was impossible through normal methods, the couple sought treatment at the Dubai Gynaecology and Fertility Centre (DGFC). The couple now has a eight-month-old son, Sammy, thanks to the fertility treatment.
