A truck carrying LPG cylinders collided with a bus in Ajman's Jarf area, resulting in the leakage of gas.
However, no casualties were reported from the incident, as per Al Bayan report.
First Lieutenant Mohammad Humaid Al Muhairi, Head of Media and Public Relations, said that the civil defence and ambulance vehicles were immediately dispatched to the scene following the tipoff.
"The rescue team was able to deal with the seriousness of the situation and tightly closed off the leaking cylinders, making sure to prevent further leakages.
"This helped avoid an explosion that could endanger the lives of motorists or pedestrians nearby. The team removed the LPG cylinders from the vehicle. The site was handed over to Ajman police for processing," he said.
