A female student, who was allegedly caught with 0.1g of marijuana, has been charged in a Dubai court. The 24-year-old Sudanese woman also allegedly used tramadol, amphetamine and methamphetamine.
She has been charged at the Court of First Instance with possession of drugs and taking three types of narcotics.
The arrest was made on February 14 this year by the Dubai Police anti-narcotics division in Al Barsha.
The student was referred to trial after her urine sample tested positive for three types of narcotics according to a report from the general directorate of criminal evidence and criminology.
The trial has been adjourned to May 2.
