Celebrating 20 years as one of the top seasonal destinations, Global Village is set to surprise visitors this year with a new landscape, impressive pavilion infrastructure, dazzling cultural performances, and loads of family-friendly activities.
The one-stop outdoor shopping and entertainment zone, which will run between November 3, 2015 and April 9, 2016, will bring to life the hustle and bustle of bazaars from across the world onto one platform. Visitors can sample a taste of 75 countries via 32 pavilions, as each infrastructure is constructed to represent its respective global landmark. New to the list of nations are Russia and Japan to showcase their heritage.
"We promise a totally different experience this season from the moment visitors arrive to Global Village all the way through our shows. You will also see new landscapes, new pavilions, be amazed by 'The Gate of the World', and retail sites, so please join us," Ahmad Hussain bin Essa, Global Village CEO, told Khaleej Times.
Enhanced customer experience is also among the highlights of this edition, as newly introduced complimentary 60-seater trains will help visitors commute between Global Village's 18,000-plus car parks and its novel iconic entrance, "The Gate of the World" - Global Village's largest portal since inception that features 40 turnstile entrances and 40 ticketing counters.

In addition, concerts; street, cultural and stunt shows; alongside new rides at its in-house fun fair Fantasy Island, are set to entertain audiences of all ages throughout the season.
Visitors can unwind on lush grassy terrains, relax in multi-storey restaurants to enjoy uninterrupted views of the canal and the pavilions, or indulge in global cuisines that offer delectable array of street foods and gourmet delights.
