The Dubai Police have honoured an employee, who retired after working with the force for over four decades. Shadiya Jamal Saad Al Dien was honoured for her “loyalty and tireless efforts” in 42 years of service.
Major-General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs, lauded Shadiya’s “excellent and efficient performance in carrying out her duties”.
“She is known for being a role model in upholding ethics, and dedication to work,” said the officer. “It is our duty to show respect and appreciation to those who have devoted their life to the Dubai Police.”
Maj-Gen Al Mansouri presented a certificate of appreciation to Shadiya.
The retired employee said she was “very proud” to have served the police for so long.
