The UAE will host an online 'cultural marathon symposium' that will see participants discuss the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. The event on April 16 will last for over 24 hours and offer solutions and insights to the challenges.
UAE Minister of State Zaki Nusseibeh will be sending a message of unity and solidarity as he hosts the live social media event.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation's symposium will be attended by UAE Ambassadors representing the USA, Canada, UK, Germany, Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, India, Singapore, China, and Australia. It will also see the participation of museum directors, artists, design specialists, and cultural institutions.
The event will serve as a meeting point for arts professionals around the world to explore ways to emerge from this crisis as a global community.
