As part of the “Choose to Vaccinate" campaign, Adeeb Ahamed, managing director of LuLu Financial Holdings, shared a special video of encouraged, addressing residents in the UAE to play a role in keeping the community safe by getting vaccinated.
The campaign aims to preserve health by curbing the spread of Covid-19 and do everything possible to comprehensively protect the population.
“It is our responsibility to take the vaccine and join the fight against Covid-19. Having said this, it is more important that we follow safety precautions strictly, even after vaccination, to protect ourselves and others.
“Covid-19 will not disappear unless we fight back and the most effective way to do that is with vaccines. I hope everyone chooses to vaccinate, to break the infection chain and be a part of victory against this pandemic."
LuLu Financial Holdings has rolled out a campaign #choosetovaccinate, calling out to people to do the right thing, as the UAE makes Covid-19 vaccines available to its residents.
“The vaccine is our best defence in our fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. Vaccination and precautionary measures are seen as the best way towards a full and sustainable recovery,” says Adeeb Ahamed, who is also the managing director of LuLu International Exchange.
“The vaccine is free and readily available through many vaccination centres, which are operational in all localities. As responsible citizens of this great nation, let us play our part in securing the safety of our present and future generations,” he adds.
Dr Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed Al Owais, minister of health and prevention, said: “Crossing the three million mark amid an intensive nationwide vaccination campaign is a new significant milestone that has been achieved in record time to place the UAE among the world’s leaders of vaccine rollout.”
The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) has requested people to come forward and participate in the vaccination drive to restore normalcy. #choosetovaccinate
