The Abu Dhabi Police on Tuesday shared videos of dangerous driving in the emirate, urging motorists to use the right lanes of the road if they are driving at slow speeds.
In a video posted on Twitter account, the Traffic and Patrols Department of Abu Dhabi Police said: "Drivers are urged to use the right track when driving at slow speeds."
The police encourages drivers to use the right lanes if they drive at slow speeds so as not to hinder drivers on the fast lane. This is part of their awareness plan to reduce traffic accidents.
The police warned that driving at a slow speed on the fast lane, and overtaking such a vehicle from the right are both risky, and can lead to serious traffic accidents.
Police added those found violating these rules will be fined Dh400.
