The General Directorate of Sharjah Police has responded to rumours going around on social media regarding the reduction of traffic violations by 50 per cent.
In a post on their social media handles, Sharjah Police clarified that this fine reduction has been re-published, as it took place in October 2017 of last year.
"Sharjah police had reduced traffic violations at the time because of our Golden Jubilee."
The police urged residents to always double check and disregard rumours if not verified by the official Sharjah Police website or on its official handles on Instagram or Twitter.
