Ah, Dubai - a city that constantly changes every time you see it. One can only know much about the city since it is always evolving. So to help you gain more info about Dubai whether you are living in, visiting or planning to reside here, we've looked for some quirky facts that you won't see in any tourist catalog ever made.
Cleaning the Burj
Having 24,000 windows is no joke for a single window cleaner alone. A news report stated that cleaning the tallest building in the world requires a team of 36 window cleaners and a total duration of 3 months to clean the entire building to give tourists that sparkly, selfie perfect view of Dubai's pride.
The BBC tried experiencing the window cleaning of the Burj Khalifa. You can watch it below.

70% of the population is men
Men comprise two-thirds of the city's population with women only comprising one-thirds. And now a lot will begin to wonder why finding a partner in Dubai is hard, but finding buddies to go bowling or play pool with is way easier.
You can see the Burj Khalifa from 95km
If you're coming in from one of the roads going towards Dubai, there's a big chance you'll see the blinking lights of Burj Khalifa from an extreme distance of 95km which is roughly the same distance as seeing Freiburg in Germany from Strasbourg in France.
40% of gold trades in the world happened here
In 2013 a total of 2,250 tonnes of gold was traded in Dubai. That's more than the combined weight of 354 elephants.
Fly Emirates if you want to fly in style
As of late, Emirates Airlines are the only airlines in the world to have a fleet fully comprised of Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s. Now talk about flying in style and being entertained for the rest of your flight as Emirates also bagged the best in-flight entertainment award for 2017.
