The second route (F18) starts from Oud Metha Metro Station, and passes along Oud Metha 11 & 12 Streets, American Hospital in Dubai and down to Lamcy Plaza, and will offer service from Saturday to Friday from 6am to 11pm.
The third Route (F42) serves Nakheel Harbour Metro Station and Discovery Gardens 1 to 12. The service will run from Saturday to Thursday from 7am to 9pm.
“The launch of three new bus routes reflects the agency’s keenness to broaden the reach of public transport network to cover all parts of the emirate, as well as encouraging the public to use public buses as a key means of transport. Such a drive is in line with the RTA’s strategic goals since buses contribute substantially to providing comfortable and enjoyable transit experience, and avoiding hassles of traffic congestion in some areas,” said Al Hashimi.
