Ticket price reached as high as $6,000 apiece as Chinese champions Guangzhou Evergrande host the UAE's Al Ahli in the Asian Champions League final next week.
Evergrande and Al Ahli are scheduled to play in the second leg of the final on November 21 in Guangzhou's Tianhe stadium. The two sides drew 0-0 last Saturday in the first leg, reports Xinhua.
The most expensive tickets priced at 39,000 yuan (about $6,100) have been sold out. The second level of tickets are sold at 18,000 yuan (about $2,826) and even the cheapest tickets will cost 600 yuan (about $94).
It is estimated that the box office for this match will exceed 100 million yuan wh0ile the number for 2013 second leg of the final was about 50 million.
