British Olympic legend Mo Farah hailed the Dubai Fitness Challenge, calling it a unique initiative to encourage residents of the city to embrace a healthy lifestyle.
"Yes it's really important that we connect with people as a family. People have been quite fit and active. And for me, it's really nice to get a chance to be involved with this Dubai Fitness Challenge. It's a unique initiative," the four-time Olympic champion told Khaleej Times on Saturday.
"It gives us a chance to show what we do and how we do it. So even myself and my wife have really enjoyed this experience. Everyone has been so active here. Running with the people and just being part of it is so nice," he added.
Farah said he could not have chosen a better city to spend some quality time with his family.
"It's our second time together. But for me, it's fourth Dubai visit. We love this city," the Somalia-born athlete said.
"It's our first family holiday here. Our previous trips we have been less involved than this one so it's been really nice. This is a proper holiday."
