Barcelona's Lionel Messi and Ousmane Dembele were back in partial training on Monday ahead of this week's Champions League clash against Inter Milan.
Both were out of action on Saturday with thigh injuries for the club's La Liga victory against Getafe but were able to participate in some of Monday's session.
"Messi and Ousmane Dembele joined the group for a portion of the session," Barcelona said in a statement.
If they are passed fit it will be good news for coach Ernesto Valverde ahead of an important week for the club, which includes a La Liga home match against Sevilla on Sunday as well as Wednesday's Champions League game.
"I don't know how long he will be out for, we hope he can return to the team soon," Valverde told a news conference recently.
"It's not serious, it's a small strain but we're going to see how he improves next week.
"If he returns soon it's a boost for us and if not then we will be missing a player who is absolutely decisive.
"But we have the resources to manage without him, it's a setback, but we need to keep going."
Barca have made a slow start to the season due to their dire away form, losing to Athletic Bilbao and Granada while drawing at Osasuna in their three matches away from the Camp Nou, where they have a 100 percent record.
But the win against Getafe have put their campaign back on track they now trail leaders by just four points.
