With the world coming to a standstill due to the coronavirus pandemic, sportspersons have been interacting with fans on social media to keep them engaged and encourage them in their fight against the outbreak of the coronavirus. And India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been sending out messages to fans and loved ones to keep them in a positive state of mind.
Taking to Twitter, Jadeja wrote: "Everyone has fears, few conquer it #beyourself #rajputboy."
Earlier, Jadeja sent out an important message regarding coronavirus pandemic using one of his old run-out videos. Jadeja implied that staying home is the best way to curb the spread of the virus and one could be 'run-out' venturing out of the four walls.
His post read: "Bahar bindass ghumte ho. Mast mein timepass karte ho. Jab apko ghar pe rhna chaiye. Phr ye to hona hi tha. #StaySafe #RunOutMatHona."
In normal circumstances, Jadeja would currently be playing for Chennai Super Kings in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League but the tournament was postponed by the BCCI.
Not just cricket but entire sporting calender of the world has been ruined by the deadly virus. Multi-national events like Olympics and Euro have been pushed back to 2021.
Dark clouds are also circling over the fate of T20 World Cup in Australia later this year. Speaking to IANS, a BCCI official had said that a number of factors would come into play as far as T20 WC is concerned and all that would be only after normalcy returns across the globe.
