Moroccan international Abdelaziz Barrada's return to UAE shores is gathering steam with French media saying that the attacking playmaker is set to touch down in Dubai to put the finishing touches to a reported move to Al Nasr.
But the Dubai club, were tight-lipped on the matter, when asked by the Khaleej Times.
L'Équipe had first reported that the 27-year-old, currently with French Ligue 1 club Olympique Marseille, was set for a return to the UAE after his first stint in the country with Abu Dhabi club Al Jazira.
And late on Tuesday night, other media outlets like le10sport.com and footmarseille.com said that the former Getafe and Paris Saint-Germain B player was expected to travel to Dubai for a medical and sign a contract with Al Nasr.
A well-placed club source didn't confirm nor deny the news saying they were not aware but told the Khaleej Times on Tuesday night that they were in the transfer market looking at a few players.
"We are in the transfer market for some players and it is normal that the club are in negotiations with a few players. When we do sign l, we will announce them officially," the club source told the Khaleej Times.
Barrada spent one season with Al Jazira from 2013-14. He made 22 appearances and scored 10 goals for the Pride of Abu Dhabi. Barrada also made eight appearances for Al Jazira in the AFC Champions League and scored four goals and had four assists.
