It was 'love is in the air', literally, when a Royal Jordanian airlines captain proposed his girlfriend on a flight!
The love-struck Captain got down on one knee and asked his girlfriend for her hand in marriage abroad the flight from Amman to Dubai.
Captain Richard Abu Manneh decided to pop the proposal as the girl he loved was on the Royal Jordanian flight and did not want this chance to go by. And, to his delight the girl said 'Yes'! Well, how could she have said no to such a proposal.
"Today's flight is special for me since the girl I love is aboard," the captain was quoted saying in a local online news portal.
The passengers in flight were awestruck by the captain's way of proposing and joined in the celebration with hugs, flowers and congratulations!
The Royal Jordanian crew posted photos of the unique proposal on Facebook with a caption that read: 'The Royal Jordanian family wishes them a lifetime of happiness!'
Since then, people across the world are congratulating the couple on Facebook, with some putting up funny comments like 'where can I find a job like this to propose my girlfriend on a plane'!
