The 22-year-old batter became only the fifth uncapped player in IPL history to score over 500 runs in a season

Former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh had his first tryst with cricket's most abridged format - the Aldar Properties Abu Dhabi T10 League and it was pretty much a blink and miss.
But the southpaw felt that T10 format or The Hundred, to be launched by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), could figure at the Olympics.
Yuvraj made his debut in the tournament on Friday and made a six-ball six for the Maratha Arabians.
And the Man of the Tournament at the World Cup held in India in 2011, said these two formats could be a shoe-in depending on the schedule.
"Actually, it went really fast," Yuvraj said of his maiden experience in the T10.
"I just felt that there was no time to think whether to block or go for big hits. The nature of T10 is such that I hope we get used to it quickly because we don't qualify as it is a short tournament. We have to get used to conditions and get going quickly,' he added.
On cricket's inclusion at the Olympics, he said: "(The) difference is how long the tournament is. If it is over in about two weeks then I think 100-ball will be perfect. If the tournament is, say, 10 days, then obviously, T10 should be perfect," Yuvi observed.
The 37-year-old is enjoying his retirement life after a long career but is also playing sporadically in franchise leagues around the world.
"I am loving it actually. I am really enjoying my cricket, enjoyed playing in Canada. Unfortunately, I could not go to the CPL (Caribbean Premier League) because of date issues and other things. Playing like two or three formats a year is actually great for me because I am retired. I have my retired life and I get to work on things that I did want to work after retirement," he said.
"When I miss cricket I have these two or three tournament to play rather being on a park for 360 days playing 60 or 90 days of cricket. Also, I am at an age where I don't wish to be playing throughout the year. I want to relax more and spend more time with the family and enjoy my life because it's been a roller-coaster ride for 17 years," elaborated Yuvi.
