Batting first, Taha CC achieved a decent 139 before being all out in the 18th over thanks to three-wicket hauls by Abdullah Kayani and Zeeshan Butt. They were backed by Mohammad Umair who scalped two wickets. For Taha CC, Murad Khan topscored with 39 and Haider Shah was the second best batsman with a gritty 31.

Chasing, one early wicket did not affect Matar CC as Shazir Sohail Samana and Arif shared 96 runs for the second wicket. Samana departed on 47 coming off 42 deliveries including five boundaries and a six and suddenly two more wickets fell in quick succession.
