Abu Dhabi — Al Ahli are chasing former Chelsea star Demba Ba, say reports according to the Turkish media.
The reports said that the Red Knights are prepared to offer 10 million Euros for the Senegalese striker. The 30-year-old is currently on holiday in Dubai and posted a picture on his Instagram account on Saturday.
The former West Ham United and Newcastle United ace is currently plying his trade with Turkish side Besiktas for whom he has made 29 appearances and scored 18 goals until now.
Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua are also reportedly interest in the striker, while his former club West Ham United are also considering a move with former Besiktas boss Slaven Bilic keen on bringing him back to Upton Park.
Ahmed Khalifa Hammad, the CEO of Al Ahli, declined to comment on the news to the Khaleej Times.
Demba Ba has played for German club 1899 Hoffenheim before moving to West Ham United and then Newcastle United. He then joined Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Al Wahda have reportedly signed former Arsenal midfielder Denilson Pereira Neves from Brazilian side Sao Paulo.
