Bookanypro.com, a multi-service online web-based marketplace, has launched in the UAE.
The platform will allow customers to avail a variety of daily services while offering event planners – both corporate and private – to hire various event related equipment and talent-oriented professionals for their events. Additionally, this platform also functions as an online marketplace, connecting freelance professionals and SMEs with businesses.
The platform offers its customers a multitude of services - customers can now also book for PCR tests which would be conducted at their homes. Customers can also rent studios, event venues, supplies and cleaning services through just a few clicks. The platform will provide customers a fast and easy way to book any daily services they need while providing professionals and freelancers the opportunity to gain new clients at no extra cost or any subscription fee. Customers can even book event venues for corporate events and venues for family events such as birthday parties etc.
Bookanypro will support the service professionals in case they face any issues while providing their services. Some of the services and professionals listed on the platform include musicians, artists, influencers, chefs, makeup artists, part-time staff for event related projects, motivational speakers, videographers, photographers, designers, teachers, hostesses, models, and entertainers. Through a network of more than 500 freelancers, customers can hire performers and service staff through Bookanypro.com.
Bookanypro.com was developed by entrepreneur Ahmed Al Hassoni. Speaking about the launch of the platform, Al Hassoni said: “The services and rental industry is a multi-billion-dollar market in the UAE and we are quite keen to revolutionise the market. With Covid-19 changing the dynamics of the way people work and the thriving gig economy in the UAE, we want to make sure we support the freelancers and service professionals by providing them a platform to get the right kind of work and projects. We want to make sure we contribute positively to the UAE economy. Our objective for online bookings is to make bookings as seamless and transparent as possible.”
In the near future, Bookanypro.com will also scale its operations across key growth markets in the Mena region. The start-up is currently in the process of raising seed funding and will be sharing details once the round is closed. While the platform is currently web based it will also be an app based platform.
Ahmed Al Hassoni concluded: “As a digital B2C online services and talent marketplace, our ambition is to be the number one search engine for daily essential services and any corporate events or home events in MENA. The response we have received so far emphasizes the promising start-up environment in the UAE, and hopefully will be an inspiration to create new tech ventures that support the digital transformation in the region.”
