Go see the show
The classic 'Mughal-e-Azam' (The Great Mughal) story has been living in our hearts for generations. The epic love story from Indian history was originally captured on celluloid as a partial colour film in the black-and-white era. Watch it come to life in Dubai this weekend at Dubai Opera tonight at 8pm and January 11 & 12 at 3.30pm and 8pm on both days.
Kkite masti at Al Mamzar park this Friday
Kai Po Che! - is originally a Gujarati phrase that means "I have cut", referring to
the Makar Sankranti pursuit (known as Uttarayan in Gujarat), where a competitor uses their kite to cut off another competitor's kite, subsequently yelling "Kai Po Che!" when it is completed. This year's Kite Masti, where all the Kai Po Che fun will be taking place, will be at Al Mamzar Park on Friday from 10am. Tickets are available on Platinum List or various Chinchaaus Restaurants around Dubai.
