A fully functional ambulance is now in position outside The Dubai Mall round-the-clock, to respond to any emergency situation that may arise.
Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS) has deployed the well-equipped ambulance in order to ensure speedy response to any situation, bringing the service in line with top international standards. DCAS chief executive Khalifa Al Sari said The Dubai Mall was chosen because it is one of the biggest and most popular trade centres in the region.
“The number of visitors to The Dubai Mall is always increasing,” he said.
Al Sari said the corporation is keen on providing its services to the highest degree of professionalism, and rescuers are trained to deal well with patients and their families. “The emergency paramedics of the corporation contribute in rendering ambulance service to any accident that takes place in crowded areas, and direct the rescuers to deal appropriately and at right time,” he said.
Paramedics also urged rescue workers to take care of the precious moments preceding the arrival at the hospital, saying that victims attended to and given first aid immediately recover quickly.
