His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has been travelling across the UAE to offer condolences to the families of Emirati servicemen who fell while taking part in the Arab coalition's 'Operation Restoring Hope' in Yemen.
Shaikh Mohammed offered his sincere condolences and solace to the families and relatives of the martyrs at the mourning majlis'. He prayed to the Almighty Allah to rest the souls of the martyrs in eternal peace along with the righteous, and bestow patience and solace on their families and relatives.
He was accompanied by Shaikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council; Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs; Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister and other senior officials. The visits covered the condolence gatherings of martyrs Saeed Salem Masoud Al Seraidi in Wadi Al Sidr in Fujairah; Obaid Saeed Rashid Al Mazrouei in Adhen district in Ras Al Khaimah; and Ahmed Mohammed Ali Al Shehhi in Al Jeer district, also in Ras Al Khaimah.
Relatives of the martyrs told Shaikh Mohammed that service to the homeland, gratitude to the nation and defending it "are national duties on our shoulders."
Shaikh Mohammed saluted the patriotic feelings of the families and relatives of the martyrs, which rose above their sadness and pain, to highlight pride and sacrifice to the nation.
"These precious souls are the ones who build and protect the nation, safeguard its dignity, and paint hopes for the next generation," Shaikh Mohammed said, and added that the UAE would continue to defend truth and justice.- Wam
