UAE, Portugal sign agreements
UAE Foreign Minister Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan met his Portuguese counterpart Paulo Portas on Friday and discussed with him bilateral relations and ways to enhance them in all fields.
Shaikh Abdullah and Portas signed two agreements for cooperation between the two countries in renewable energy and higher education and scientific research.
The meeting was attended by Shaikh Abdullah Mohammed Al Hamed, Director of European Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Mohammed Mahmoud Al Khawaja, Advisor at the ministry; Saleh Al Suwaidi, Assistant Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs; and Saqr Nasser Ahmed Al Raisi, UAE Ambassador to Portugal.
