Apple on Monday announced that its new devices, the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, will be available in the UAE - along with some other Middle East countries - from October 10 in the second wave of launches that will span over 40 countries.
Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait and Qatar will also receive the new iPhones on the same day, while India will welcome it on October 16, according to a Press release from the technology giant.

Suggested retail prices for the smartphones were also released in the statement. The iPhone 6S 16GB, 64GB and 128GB models will sell for Dh2,599, Dh2,999 and Dh3,399, respectively. The iPhone 6S Plus, on the other hand will go for Dh2,999, Dh3,399 and Dh3,799, respectively.
These are the same launch prices in the UAE as those of its predecessors, the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, last year. Also, it is a week later than last year's rollout in the country.
