Zaheer Baig smashed 74 from 45 deliveries to lead them to a 28-run win over Krithi Interiors, who are winless from two games.
Baig came when his side were precariously placed at 54 for five and struck half-a-dozen fours and four sixes to get his team to 165 for eight. Khurram Hameed (18) was the only other to get into double figures.
Krithi Interiors didn’t fare better either. Ishtiaq Asif hit 58 not out from 31 deliveries but the rest of the batting failed to deliver.
Phoenix Medicine kept their hopes alive in Group B with a comprehensive six-wicket triumph over ADFC, their second win from three games.
Adil Mirza, the opener, led their run chase with a top score of 55 from 45 balls, striking seven fours and a couple of sixes. Rohan Mustafa chipped in with a useful 36 not out and took two wickets.
