The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Pakistan for the first time, from October 14 to 18, 2019, at the request of the The Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
Whilst The Duke and Duchess's programme celebrated the historical relationship between Britain and Pakistan, it also focussed on showcasing Pakistan as it is today - a dynamic, aspirational and forward-looking nation.
The royal couple's account posted a video of precious moments from the historic Pakistan trip, including taking a rickshaw ride to playing cricket with kids, attending a surprise birthday party and meeting the President and Prime Minister of the country. The latter also happens to be a friend of the late Princess Diana, who had visited Pakistan in the 90s on his invitation.
