Ever wondered what it is like to ride the Emirates Air Line in London?
The Telegraph Travel has posted a breathtaking 360-degree video, on Facebook, of what it is to ride Emirates' flagship ride over Thames.
Opened in June 2012 as "a much needed new connection across the Thames", the Air Line is the UK's first urban cable car, covering the kilometre-long stretch of river between Greenwich and the Royal Victoria Dock.
Run by TfL and sponsored by the Dubai-based airline Emirates, passengers glide 50 metres above the river while the Thames Barrier, skyscrapers of Canary Wharf and the unmissable ArcelorMittal Orbit of the Olympic Park populate the urban vista below.
Thanks to the airline's 10-year £36m ($47) sponsorship in 2011, the cable car was up and running in time for the start of the 2012 Olympic Games in London, and has transported over 7 million passengers since opening, The Telegraph reported.
The cable car has become a popular tourist attraction, which provides a crossing every 15 seconds, and can carry up to 2,500 passengers every hour.
The 34 gondolas have a maximum capacity of 8, and are available for private hire via the TfL website.
