An African worker has gone on trail at Ras Al Khaimah Misdemeanour Court on charges of swearing at his Arab boss.
As per court records, the case unfolded when the worker insulted his boss using abusive words.
"He told me you are a thief," the complainant told the police.
"He even threatened to kill me for unclaimed entitlements against his work in my company."
The worker was referred to RAK Public Prosecution where he confessed to insulting his boss, but denied threatening to kill him.
"I never threatened to kill him at any time."
He added that he lost his temper when the plaintiff denied him his due money.
"I worked hard, but he did not want to give me my money," the defendant told the court.
The court will issue a a verdict next week.
